Welcome to the web site of Shooters Hill Camcorder Club

 

The Club was formed in 1971 by a small group of enthusiasts under the banner of "Shooters Hill Cine Society", using 16 MM equipment.
The introduction of 8 MM brought new members rapidly making our membership swell to around thirty, which we have maintained to the present time.
Our meeting place is perched on top of Shooters Hill at Shrewsbury House, a fine period building providing many locations for our productions.
Come along and sample a top of the hill welcome.-- Its worth the climb, and we have a car park !
We are a very friendly club and help is always on hand for anyones problems, we make films as individuals and as a club.
Now as video is the overriding format we have a projector so that you can see your creations on the big screen.
If video editing is a problem we have in the club a Casablanca editing facility.
As a club we maintain a friendly rivalry with other clubs from Medway to Epsom and the competitions between us are great fun,
So come along and visit us, live your dreams, be a director, actor or a cameraman. Anything is possible,but most of all, enjoy your time with
